Equality and Equal Pay Policy

The purpose and objective of the Dalsnes Group's gender equality and equal pay policy is to promote gender equality in accordance with Act No. 10/2008 on the equal status and equal rights of women and men, including ensuring that equal pay is given for the same or equally valuable work, so that there is no unexplained gender pay gap within the group.


  • Dalsnes emphasizes gender equality and the equal utilization of the strengths of women and men so that the talents and abilities of the company’s entire workforce are fully realized, as documented in this policy. The policy of companies within the Dalsnes Group is to be a workplace where each individual is valued based on competence and performance. Employees shall also have equal opportunities to take on responsibilities and tasks regardless of gender. Dalsnes commits to actively working on equality issues, taking initiative, and thereby demonstrating social responsibility. Dalsnes adheres to laws, regulations, and agreements related to equality matters that are in effect at any given time.
  • Dalsnes pays men and women the same wages for work of equal value, and they enjoy the same terms and rights in all other respects.
  • The Dalsnes Group follows an equality action plan that emphasizes that all employees should be able to thrive regardless of gender, nationality, religion, opinions, race, sexual orientation, age, or individual status, and that they should have equal opportunities regardless of origin, belief, or other characteristics.
  • Mutual respect and courtesy shall prevail within Dalsnes companies; bullying, gender-based, and sexual harassment are not tolerated. Companies within the Dalsnes Group have a response team in place to address such matters when they arise.
